After a data have been loaded, either by importing data or loading a previously saved workspace, additional data can be appended. This is useful for ongoing projects where intermediate analysis takes place before data collection is complete; as additional data are collected they can be appended as a new loop or survey.
There are three append options on the File menu: either a new loop can be appended to the currently selected survey, a new survey can be appended to the campaign, or an entire workspace saved from a previous GSadjust session can be appended. The first option is useful primarily for adding a new day's data for a survey currently in progress. The second option is useful primarily for appending data after a repeat gravity survey has been carried out. After appending a new survey to a campaign, data can be separated into loops as needed.
